This is not “someone who has sat on a forklift”. On a working floor the operator moves inbound pallets, feeds a line, or picks from height on a reach truck. The machine type matters. A counterbalance ticket is not a reach ticket. An order picker is a different job again.
We ask which machines, which attachments, indoor or yard, and whether the site uses a WMS scan at every move. If you only need a storeperson who can jump on a pallet jack, that is the warehouse staff page — do not book a licensed operator for that.

Sight the F endorsement, the OSH certificate, the machine types they have actually used, and whether the licence matches the person at the gate. Ask when the ticket was last verified — not whether they “have a licence”.
We do that verification before dispatch. You still induct them to your traffic management and racking rules.
