The problem

You do not need a temp. You need the right person at the right time.

Labour hire in New Zealand often arrives as a CV, a late call-back, or someone who has never seen a food-site gown. We sat on the buyer side of that for years. The pain is not “finding people”. It is no-shows, expired tickets, and a Monday night line that cannot wait for a branch meeting.

NZ HR InOne supplies temporary staff across Auckland and Hamilton / Waikato. We screen before dispatch. We tell you if we cannot fill the slot. We do not hide the rate build-up — see how charge-out pricing works.

Process

How it works — call to on site

Four steps. The clock starts when we have the role, headcount, site, start time and tickets.

01

You brief the job

Role, how many, site address, start window, licences, PPE and any hygiene or WMS rules.

02

We screen

Work rights, the tickets you named, a work history check, and a briefing on gate process.

03

They arrive

Inducted to what you told us. You supervise the work. We remain the employer.

04

If it is wrong

First two hours free. We pull them and work a replacement. You should not manage a mismatch all shift.

Roles we supply

Three roles with their own pages

These summaries stay short on purpose. The detail lives on the role pages so we do not compete with ourselves.

Also supplied

Pickers, packers, general labour, office casual

Pick and pack crews are booked as a block when volume is known — not as twelve one-off names. We want the WMS or paper process in the first call.

General labour covers loading, yard, housekeeping and unskilled plant support. The brief still needs PPE, start time and any site induction rule.

Office casual and machine operators sit under the same screening standard. They do not have dedicated pages yet; tell us the tickets and we treat them as a named role, not a leftover.

Industries

Where the work actually is

Ready to split later

Pharma and agriculture

Pharmaceutical and nutraceutical sites need gowning, batch discipline and a clean brief on restricted areas. We supply production and warehouse support here; we do not pretend this is a validated clean-room labour page yet.

Waikato agriculture and horticulture follow the season. Seasonal workers are briefed on the Hamilton page, not copied here. If you run a packhouse or a dairy site, say so in the first call so we do not send a general warehouse profile.

Screening & guarantee

We verify the person before they arrive

Every dispatch includes work rights, the licences you named, a history check, and a briefing on start time, PPE and site rules. Forklift, food and warehouse roles get the extra checks those floors actually use.

If they are not right in the first two hours, you do not pay. Health and safety duty does not leave the host employer when agency staff walk in — both parties hold overlapping PCBU duties. That is written plainly on About.
